In taking a piece of work apart and putting it back together again, something is always learned. I came away from this project with a greater appreciation for the Beatles as singers. Yes, there are some great songs in here. But it is the voices — filled with joy, sadness, longing, harmony — that continue to ring in my ears, that make these songs last. (That, and Ringo’s incredibly complicated — and difficult to play —drum parts.)

Although this is a solo project, it would not have been possible without the access to the vast resources available online.
I learned how to play the drum parts from Rob @ www.DrumsTheWord.com.
I had help learning the vocals from Galeazzo Frudua @ www.youtube.com/c/TheBeatlesVocalHarmony.
For accuracy of parts I used Hal Leonard’s tome: “The Beatles: The Complete Scores.”
For reference on how things were recorded: “The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions” by Mark Lewison.
